Martie Bond

Martie BondOver the course of a 20-plus year career in search, Martie has conducted assignments for leading technology companies and for very early-stage venture-backed companies. She has completed numerous high-profile assignments for Board Members, CEOs and Vice Presidents in Sales and Marketing. In addition to her technology experience, Martie is an expert in conducting professional services searches.

Before launching 12.12Partners in 2014 with Dana and Irene, Martie was a Managing Director in the Boyden San Francisco office. Boyden Global Executive Search is a full service executive search firm, with offices in Europe, North and South America and Asia/Pacific. Previously, she spent 14 years as a Partner in Devine & Virnig, one of the top boutique retained search firms in Silicon Valley, specializing in Vice President and C-level searches, primarily for high-tech start-ups. Before joining Devine & Virnig, Martie was with BridgeGate Group, recruiting Sales and Marketing Executives for high-technology companies.

Given my experience in working with Martie Bond, I would highly recommend her services for executive level searches. Martie was extremely attentive and supportive of our needs, focused on regular, ongoing valuable communications, listened to our needs and candidate requirements, and delivered highly qualified candidates for our search. She was always available for consultation, additional information requests, challenged us when needed and ensured the search was successful right up through the candidate’s first day of work – and followed up to ensure that the candidate was transitioning successfully to the new environment. I was very pleased with our selection of Martie as our search partner.

Martie took an extended leave from Devine & Virnig to follow a creative passion. She founded a retail pet boutique in Utah named iPaw, and it quickly became the retail boutique for pet owners in Utah. iPaw’s online store was just a smaller version of its brick and mortar presence in Park City, Utah. Martie sold iPaw and returned to California to continue her executive recruiting career.
